Cola attributes beginning her journey as a writer to the tragedy of losing her father at the age of nine. This is the avenue she used to express her thoughts and emotions.

She feels her music is special because it is inspired by the workings of the Most High God through Christ who prevails in her life and compels her to share praise, worship, thanksgiving, and encouragement through her gospel rap. The road to redemption and her strong faith in God was a long, hard, and ofttimes painful one. Cola recalled how during her 20s she was wild and stayed in trouble. She gives her mother’s unyielding faith and prayers over her credit for seeing her through those times and for instilling the seeds of her own faith which would blossom many years later. Hard-hitting songs like “Actually Favored,” “He Loves Us,” and “Stay Focused on the Kingdom” are perfect examples of how well she articulates her points with a reflective tone which gives insight to her own growth and development as an artist and as a woman of God
Some of Cola’s influences come from a wide variety of 90s era greats like Mary J. Blige, SWV, TLC, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Crucial Conflict, and Twista. Beyond that, the promise of Enteral Life in Christ is her greatest motivation. This lyrist is one to look out for.

Social Media platforms are coming in the near future and her music will be on streaming platforms.
